IT'S CRAZY TO THINK ABOUT HOW LONG I DIDN'T THINK ABOUT MY GUT HEALTH.

 

When I was less than a year old, I underwent surgery and blood transfusion, which resulted in several days on an IV drip antibiotic. (An antibiotic that has now been scientifically proven to wipe out certain strains of the good Bifidobacteria in your gut.)  

 

It makes total sense why, for the rest of my life, nurturing my gut would be something I’d need to pay special attention to. But for so long, gut health was the last thing on my mind.

 

Doctors told me that the solutions were hormonal birth control, ADHD medications, steroid creams, and antibiotics. These treatments have their place, but it never made sense to me why, every time I tried one of them, it only made my symptoms worse.

IT WASN'T UNTIL I PUT THE PIECES TOGETHER MYSELF, AND STARTED TO MAKE LIFESTYLE AND DIETARY CHANGES THAT SUPPORTED MY GUT HEALTH, THAT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY SYMPTOMS IMPROVED.

Many symptoms related to an unbalanced gut, or increased gut permeability (leaky gut), are often undiagnosed because they overlap with other health conditions. 

 

The solution to feeling better in your body, pain-free joints, improved metabolism, easier weight management, mental clarity, Better sleep, and fewer emotional ups and downs… could be as simple as taking better care of your gut.
